So unfortunately it's that time of the year where Summer is ending and school starts again. :( Which sucks. So todays post is 5 tips to make the best of your school year!

TIP 1: Have good stationery and books
Having cute schools books is much more fun than just plain ones. It also might help you want to go to a certain class that you really don't like because you have a cute book for that class. There are hundreds of DIY book covers on YouTube and Pinterest so you can easily have heaps of different book covers. Having a lot of pens, pencils, rubbers etc is also really good incase you loose one or if a friend really needs one. I keep a pencil case full of extras in my locker just in case.

TIP 2: Be organised!
There is nothing worse than not being able to find your assignment that is due today because your locker is a metre deep in rubbish. Keep everything in different folders and if you get handed out a sheet- Glue it in straight away! Also, having a diary is super handy. It can help you keep track of homework, assignments and things you need to do. My school gives us diaries, but if your school doesn't then go get one from target and keep important dates in there. Don't be the person who is also asking for a pencil or rubber in class because you don't have one (which I did quite a lot of last year, oops.) because it's wasting their learning time as well as yours.

TIP 3: Do your homework and study.
Having homework sucks. I would much rather be doing something fun instead of algebra, but unfortunately we have to do it. So if you are given homework, write what it is and when it's due in your diary and put it in your bag so you don't leave it at school. Do it as soon as you get home so that it's out of the way and you can spend the rest of your night watching tv and going on social media.
This also goes for assignments/projects. If you are given an assignment that's due in two weeks, don't leave until the night before it's due to start it. Do 15-30 minutes a night of it and it'll be done in no time.

TIP 4: Listen in class
Although it may be fun to draw on your books and talk to your friends, (which I am guilty of) the teachers actually have some interesting stuff that could help you with your end of year test. If you think something might be important to remember, take notes that you can look back on. When you take notes, make them relevant- don't just copy every single word the teachers says. Also, I find that highlighting notes and important stuff is very handy!

TIP 5: Have fun!
I know, this sounds a bit weird. But if you're going to spend 6-7 hours in a place 5 days a week then you should try and make it fun. Instead of your attitude being 'ugh I hate school' you should try and make it more 'I can't wait to go to school to see my friends' which I know, could be quite hard. But give it a go!

So that's it for todays post. I'm going back to school soon so hopefully I can still be uploading as often as I am now. I will make it work guys!
Stay Classy,
