Wowzers! I have not posted in so long and I'm so sorry for that! I have just been so busy lately that I haven't really had time to sit down and write a post.
Today I thought I would talk about time management, because if you're like me and you're in highschool and you get loaded up with homework, you have to know how to manage your time well.

Step 1: Have a diary/planner!
Honestly, this will help you so much and it's my number one tip for anyone who struggles with time management! At my school, we have to have a diary and it has help keep me so organised which I wasn't before I had a diary. I write my homework, assignments, tests, work etc in my diary and that way I can just open it up in the morning and check if anything is due that day. Choose what works best for you with your diary, personally I like to colour code  mine which is the best way for me, although you might prefer a different way because everyone has a different way of remembering things.

Step 2: Keep your room tidy!
Cleaning is not everybodys thing, and sometimes it can be a little annoying and boring, but it helps so much to have a clean room. If you need something you don't want to have to search under all the junk and rubbish in your room to find it. I would recommend buying little storage bins to keep all your homework and things that you need in them and that way things are easy to find and you can organise your time better if you know where everything is. (I have an article on cleaning your room, be sure to check it out for a more detailed version: http://sofielouisee.blogspot.com.au/2014/09/tutorial-tuesday-how-to-clean-your-room.html.)

 Step 3: Set priorities!
If you don't get much free time, make sure you do your homework in order of the due date and importance. For example, do something that's due Tuesday, before you do something that's due Friday. Even though this is just common knowledge, sometimes people think that they'll do the hard stuff first, which most of the time won't work.

Step 4: RELAX!
Don't burn yourself out! Make sure that you have some down time where you can just relax and not worry about things that need to be done. Although this may be hard if you have a busy life, it's very important. It may be something as simple as having a nice hot bath once a week to relax yourself.

Step 5: If you are strugging, drop something!
If you can't handle everything you are doing, maybe try dropping something. For example, if you are doing sports 4 times a week and you aren't getting any time to do homework, maybe stop doing one or two of the sports so that you can catch up with all your homework. Even though you might not want to, it's important not to stress yourself out.
