So recently I got the opportunity to go to Melbourne and we were only allowed to take a backpack. So I thought I would share how to pack your bag efficiently.

1. Set out everything you want to take. Doing this can make you realise how much and what you're actually taking. It helps organise everything a little better and makes packing 10 times easier.

2. Pack your toiletries. Try to limit your toiletries to travel sized items. If you have a limit on how much liquids you can take, then make sure you don't go over otherwise you could end up having to throw something out. TIP: If you have liquids that could spill through your bag, put some tape over the lid to prevent spillages.

Pack the bigger items at the bottom and smaller items at the top.

If you have large items that wont fit, leave them aside and pack them separately.

3. Roll your clothes! Rolling your clothes actually saves space and it also prevents creases in your clothes!

Firstly, fold your clothes in half.
Then roll them as tightly as possible.
Do this to anything that you would've folded otherwise.

 4. Pack your bag! Pack the larger items or things your not going to use everyday at the bottom and things that are smaller or that you'll use everyday at the top.

If your bag gets too wide, take your stuff out and pack it in a different order.
